Grassroots/ Herbalife Combine
Grassroots Basketball Canada is excited to introduce a Revolutionary Sports Nutrition Program aligning with the Industry Leader / Herbalife International. Along with this achievement we had a skills combine to introduce the Nutrition of Herbalife to our athletes. The Combine was a huge success. We gave our guys great skill training, strength and conditioning workouts, scaled all participants for their composition numbers and of course introduced Herbalife's products and showing them the importance of nutrition on and off the court.

Grassroots Academy Plays in NCSAA Division 1 Elite Basketball Showcase
This past weekend March 7th- 8th, 2013 Grassroots sent both their Elite Academy teams (Varsity and Junior Varsity) to compete in the NCSAA Division 1 Elite Basketball Showcase at the Spire Institute in Genova, Ohio. Both Grassroots teams went head to head with SPIRE Institute, Athletic Institute Academy, IMG Academy and London Academy. Our players were able to compete with these highly skilled and well developed academies. This weekend was a great success and offered the opportunity for our athletes to showcase their talents!

On March 8th after NCSAA Basketball showcase both Varsity and Junior Varsity Academy teams travelled down to The Q Arena in Cleveland, Ohio to watch Grassroots Alumni Player Tristan Thompson play against the Memphis Grizzles. After the game, Tristan shared old Grassroots stories with both teams. He talked about his training, experiences during his AAU seasons with Grassroots and Coach Ro. Tristan words of advice inspired our players and pumped them up for our upcoming AAU Season!
